Prior to the Castro Revolution, Cubans freely visited Colorado and Coloradans returned the favor by freely visiting Cuba. For the last 40 years, travel, trade and friendship between Colorado and Cuba has been severely restricted.

As Colorado and Cuba enter the New Millennium, Colorado Cuba hopes to find points of common interest between Colorado and Cuba which can be pursued legally under current USA laws, rules and regulations regarding Cuba. These areas include information exchange, media, and licensed sales of food and medicine to Cuba. We hope recent visits of USA Senators, Congressmen and Governors to Cuba pave the way for more flexibility in USA Cuba relations in the near future.
