Commercial transactions between the USA and Cuba were expanded when President Clinton signed the 2000 Farm Bill in October, 2000. During 2002, Cuba has purchased $165 million of USA food and medicine. Cuba intends to purchase more products and services from Cuba in the future, especially after the USA Embargo is lifted.
